Requirements

The Cloud Control Panel is specifically designed for our servers and will not work on local servers or other hosting providers. Its functions are tied into our internal software, giving you access to things like site resources, your MySQL database and DNS records - a cPanel-like experience without the need for separate login credentials - everything inside the back-end of your Joomla! site.

Installing a site manually on the CloudAccess.net Platform

When you want to import a site manually, by yourself, into the CloudAccess.net platform you must follow these basic instructions.  We do not go into extreme details. If you’re the Joomla! geek type you will understand.  If you’re a novice we suggest you pay for a hosting package and have our team do the work for you. Submit a ticket via your client area at CloudAccess.net if you get lost.

How can I import a site into CloudAccess.net?

Launch a new Joomla! site in the CloudAccess.net platform at this URL: http://www.cloudaccess.net/client-login.html under Shop Joomla! -> Launch a new Joomla! website. After the site is launched use the welcome letter FTP details to to get the configuration.php file in the root of your Joomla site (which is /httpdocs) and get the database login information.  FTP information is located in your welcome message or in the billing control panel. Upload your Akeeba backup or manually upload your files and connect everything.

If my Cloud Control Panel is broken can I reinstall the system?

Yes you can reinstall the Cloud Control Panel - just use the instructions above, it will overwrite all files and database entries automatically.

What if I have trouble with everything?

Upload everything you have to a directory inside /httpdocs and open a detailed ticket asking our team to do the site import for you. We are glad to do this free of charge for any paying customer.
