We all know that things can get a little tough during the holiday season so last month we decided to do a food drive to benefit our local branch of the Salvation Army. This organization has been around for a long time and they are always willing to offer a helping hand to those in need.
After contacting the Salvation Army they learned that not only was there a need for food, but also for personal hygiene items. With the contributions that were given along with some additional funds provided by CloudAccess.net, two of our team members, Eyvonne and Joseph, set out to purchase as many items as they could.
They were able to get a generous amount of food items from our local Meijer and thanks to the local Dollar Tree where every item is $1.00 or less, they were able to purchase shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste as well as toilet paper.
These items were presented to Amy (pictured with Joseph) at the Salvation Army on Thursday January 11,2018. They were very happy to receive the donations and said that they would make sure they were put to good use to local families and individuals in the community who are in need.
