System - Language Filter (Joomla 2.5)

Every once in a while you may find that your site URLs contain an "/en". When creating multilingual sites, this is normal. If you are not creating a multilingual site you could have accidentally enabled this function. If you want it removed, it's easy to do.

Usually, the quickest way to remove this from your URL is to disable the Language Filter. To do this, go to your Extensions menu and select Plug-in Manager.

pluginmanager

Once you are in the Plug-in Manager you can either search through the pages or simply type in "System" in the filter blank and click "Search". This should reduce the number of plug-ins showing on the page allowing you to easily find the "System - Language Filter".
